How is compute billed?
By the hour, per node. A gp-1 node with 1 vCPU and 4 GB costs €0.06 per hour. Monthly prices on this page assume 730 hours.
How do commitments work?

What do I not pay for?
The highly available Kubernetes control plane, 100 GB of disk per node, outbound NAT, IPv6, DNS and object storage API calls.
Is there a free tier or credits for startups?
DNS is free for every account. Startups can apply for cloud credits through enum for Startups.
