# SaaS. Grow tenants, not ops.

SaaS companies run multi-tenant products on enum: managed Kubernetes with a highly available control plane per cluster, S3-compatible object storage and private networking in Frankfurt, with EU data residency for enterprise buyers and euro pricing.

Run your multi-tenant product on Kubernetes in Frankfurt, and give enterprise buyers a clear answer on where their data lives.

## What changes. From friction to answers.

- Tenant isolation becomes a maze of custom setups → Namespaces and network policies, or a dedicated cluster where a contract demands it
- A big customer goes live and traffic spikes → Workloads scale horizontally; you size node pools for your peak
- Security questionnaires ask where data lives and who can access it → Frankfurt, a German company, no US parent: one clear answer
- The cloud bill grows faster than revenue → Published euro prices per resource, no control-plane fee, no request fees

## How SaaS teams run on enum. From first cluster to paying tenants.

1. **Get your cluster**: A production Kubernetes cluster with a highly available control plane. Kubernetes clusters are set up on request today; self-service creation launches in Q4 2026.
2. **Isolate tenants your way**: Namespaces and network policies on a shared cluster, a separate cluster where contracts require it.
3. **Store and connect**: Exports, backups and customer files in object storage; services behind private networking and load balancers.

## What you run it on.

- [Object Storage](https://enum.co/object-storage): S3-compatible storage for backups, exports and customer files, in Frankfurt.
- [Networking](https://enum.co/networking): Private networking (VPC in preview), load balancers and NAT.

## Questions. About SaaS on enum.

### Can we run multi-tenant SaaS on a shared cluster?

Yes. Most teams start with namespaces and network policies on one cluster. When a contract requires stronger separation, that customer gets a dedicated cluster with its own control plane.

### Where does customer data live?

In Frankfurt, Germany, on infrastructure enum operates itself. enum GmbH is a German company with no US parent.

### How do we get clusters?

Kubernetes clusters are set up on request today; self-service creation launches in Q4 2026. Account sign-up, storage and DNS are self-service right away.

### Does the pricing work for SaaS unit economics?

Prices are published per resource in euros. The highly available control plane is included and there are no fees for API requests, so you can model cost per tenant.
